Now, the rapper is parlaying his expertise in all things cannabis into a line of weed products.
Introducing Leafs by Snoop
With the launch of Leafs by Snoop, Snoop Dogg has become the first celebrity in the United States to have their own line of marijuana products. His collection of products includes marijuana strains that were tested and selected by Snoop Dogg personally. The varieties include three types of flowers, two types of shatter, and two types of wax. In addition, Leafs by Snoop is offering a range of edibles, including fruit chews, peanut butter gems, gummy candies, and chocolate bars made with fair trade cannabis oil. All of the products have a high-end luxury look, with sophisticated packaging designed by the well-known design firm, Pentagram.
Other Snoop Dogg Marijuana Ventures
While Leafs by Snoop is garnering a lot of attention, this isn’t Snoop Dogg’s first marijuana business. The rapper has already partnered with Grenco Science to create the Snoop Dogg G Pen collection, a line of vaporizer pens that bear custom artwork created by Snoop. Now, medical and legal marijuana users will be able to use a Snoop Dogg vaporizer to dab pen for wax and herbal marijuana from Snoop’s own brand.
In addition to the Snoop Dogg vape pen collection, the hip hop artist has also invested in a medical marijuana delivery service located in California, and a marijuana media company that produces informational articles about medicinal and legal cannabis. The Launch of Leafs by Snoop
On November 9, 2015, Leafs by Snoop had its official launch party in Colorado. Snoop attended the event himself, and spoke to the media about the brand. He said that he has been pushing for marijuana legalization for two decades, and was excited to be able to be on the forefront of the new industry. During the launch party, samples of Leafs by Snoop products were available.
In November 2015, Leafs by Snoop products arrived at LivWell marijuana dispensaries in Colorado. Sometime in December 2015 and January 2016, they will be made available for wholesale to other dispensaries in Colorado, and other states where legalization is completely legal, as well as in states where only medicinal marijuana may be purchased for sale.
