You don’t have to worry about any physical damage to the data on the original location. The only disadvantage is that there is a risk of unauthenticated use of data through the employees of the company. They can be bribed and the privacy of data can be compromised. The other limitation is that there is limited space available and sometimes it is not enough for the users as the entire device can contain huge amount of data.
