BrixPod Classic Goes On Sale This Thursday (10/27) at 9:00pm EST
The BrixPod Classic is a signed and numbered limited edition of 300 units. Each BrixPod is assembled by hand from 59 genuine LEGO® parts. The BrixPod Classic can be displayed alone but is intended for use with the iPod shuffle (not included). By inserting the shuffle into the top of the BrixPod you get the effect of a fully functional music player constructed from LEGO®. The shuffle is held securely and protected inside the BrixPod. By pushing on the screen area of the BrixPod the shuffle can be paused/played. An eject slider on the back of the BrixPod allows you to remove the shuffle easily.

Due to the time-consuming nature of assembling each BrixPod, sales will be split into two runs of 150 units each. The first 150 units will be available for sale on this Thursday (10/27) at 9:00PM EST for $49.99 each. The second group of 150 units will go on sale approximately three weeks later. Unit numbers will be distributed randomly between all orders so everyone will have an equal chance of receiving a low number unit. Please be aware that sales will be limited to no more than two units per order.

More photos and product details will be available at product launch but we have compiled together some common questions regarding the BrixPod.

Is the screen of the BrixPod functional?

Tomi Responds:
No. The screen is static and printed on the unit.

Can the BrixPod be used with standard iPod cases?

Tomi Responds:
Some cases may be used that fit the 2nd, 3rd or 4th gen iPods. However it depends on the case as the BrixPod size is slightly larger.

Can I disassemble the BrixPod?

Tomi Responds:
No. The BrixPod parts are permanently fused.

Will you ship the BrixPod internationally?

Tomi Responds:
Yes. We ship via standard Air Mail to almost any country. Shipping rates will be listed during checkout.

Does the BrixPod come with earbuds?

Tomi Responds:
No. You need to supply your own iPod shuffle and earbuds to make the BrixPod work as a music player.

Army of Woz
Many of you are familiar with the "Woz" minifig we released previously. Here is a shot of the 300 unit Woz army before we shipped them out to customers.
